Biografi Johnny Cash

Johnny Cash adalah seorang penyanyi asal Amerika Serikat yang menjadi salah satu terpopuler sejak awal tahun 1950an sampai akhir 1980an yang paling terkenal dengan gaya musik country dan bluesnya. Ia lahir pada tanggal 26 Februari 1932 dan meninggal pada tanggal 12 September 2003. Ia adalah suami dari penyanyi country June Carter Cash. Cash terkenal dengan sebutan “man in black” meninggal akibat penyakit diabetes.
Lagu-lagunya yang terkenal di antaranya adalah “I Walk the Line”, “Folsom Prison Blues”, “Ring of Fire”, dan “The Man in Black”, “Orange Blossom Special”, “So Doggone Lonesome” dan masih banyak lagi. Dalam kariernya yang membentang 50 tahun, ia menjual lebih dari pada 80 juta keping album.
